G7 Performance Foam Induction Kit - 1.0 TSI

Improve airflow, throttle response and turbo sound with this Ramair performance intake kit designed for Volkswagen Group vehicles fitted with the 1.0 TSI turbocharged petrol engine. This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow foam filter, aluminium intake pipe and heat shield assembly, allowing the turbocharger to breathe more efficiently.

The kit is designed specifically for the MQB small-engine platform, providing improved airflow while maintaining excellent filtration and a clean OEM-style installation.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

The standard intake system on the 1.0 TSI engine is designed to minimise engine noise and meet emissions requirements. To achieve this, the factory airbox contains internal baffles and narrow ducting which restrict airflow into the turbocharger.

This Ramair intake kit removes the restrictive airbox and replaces it with a high-flow Ramair foam filter and smooth aluminium intake pipe. The improved airflow path allows a greater volume of air to reach the turbocharger, helping it spool more efficiently and respond faster to throttle input.

The black powder-coated heat shield helps isolate the filter from hot engine bay air, allowing cooler air to enter the intake system for improved performance consistency.
