Featuring an 80mm intake diameter with a supplied 70mm adapter, this kit ensures compatibility with different intake sizes used across the Mk3 Caddy engine range.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

The standard air intake system uses a sealed airbox and narrow pipework designed primarily for noise reduction and emissions compliance. While effective for refinement, this setup restricts airflow entering the turbocharger.

This Ramair intake kit replaces the restrictive airbox with a high-flow foam filter and smooth silicone intake pipe, allowing a greater volume of air to reach the turbo. The increased airflow helps the turbo spool more efficiently, improving throttle response and producing a stronger induction sound.

The black powder-coated heat shield helps protect the filter from hot engine bay air, allowing cooler air to enter the intake system for improved efficiency and more consistent performance.
