G7 Pro-Max Foam Induction Kit - 2.0 TDI (GTD)

The Ramair ProMax enclosed intake system is a modular high-performance induction setup designed to improve airflow and turbo efficiency on MQB platform vehicles fitted with 2.0 TDI and 2.0 TSI engines.

Unlike traditional open cone filters, the ProMax system uses an aluminium enclosure to shield the filter from engine bay heat, helping maintain lower intake air temperatures while still delivering high airflow. This results in improved performance, stronger turbo response and a cleaner intake installation.

The modular housing allows the system to be configured with either a Ramair foam filter or a pleated ProRam filter, making it adaptable for different applications including fast road, motorsport and kit car builds where performance and space efficiency are important.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

Factory intake systems often contain restrictive ducting and sound-dampening chambers that limit airflow to the turbocharger. The ProMax system replaces this with a compact enclosed intake housing and bellmouth cold air inlet designed to optimise airflow.

The bellmouth inlet improves airflow velocity and reduces turbulence as air enters the intake system. This smoother airflow allows the turbocharger to spool more efficiently while maintaining consistent airflow under load.

The aluminium enclosure protects the filter from hot engine bay air while directing cooler air into the intake. Combined with the included custom silicone intake hoses, this system provides a smoother and more direct airflow path between the filter and turbocharger.
