G7 Pro-Max Foam Induction Kit - 2.0 TSI

The Ramair ProMax enclosed intake system is a high-performance modular induction kit designed to deliver improved airflow, enhanced turbo response and excellent filtration for MQB platform vehicles fitted with 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI EA888 engines.

Unlike traditional open cone filters, the ProMax aluminium enclosure shields the filter from engine bay heat, helping maintain lower intake temperatures while still allowing excellent airflow. This results in improved performance and a cleaner, more efficient intake system.

Designed for fast road, motorsport and performance builds, the ProMax system combines lightweight construction with a compact design, making it ideal where engine bay space is limited.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

The factory airbox system often contains restrictive ducting and sound-dampening chambers which limit airflow into the turbocharger. The ProMax system replaces this with a high-flow enclosed filter housing and bellmouth inlet, designed to optimise airflow and maximise cold air feed.

The bellmouth inlet smooths the airflow entering the intake, reducing turbulence and improving air velocity. This allows the turbocharger to spool more efficiently and maintain airflow under higher load.

The aluminium enclosure protects the filter from hot air within the engine bay, while the included custom silicone hoses create a smoother and more direct airflow path between the filter housing and turbo inlet.

Together, these improvements deliver better throttle response, improved turbo efficiency and enhanced induction sound.
