G7 Performance Foam Induction Kit - 1.2 TSI, 1.4 TSI

This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow foam filter, aluminium intake pipe and heat shield assembly to help the engine breathe more efficiently.

With a 70mm intake diameter, this kit increases airflow to the turbocharger while maintaining excellent filtration. The result is sharper throttle response, improved induction sound and improved airflow capacity — particularly beneficial on remapped engines.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

The factory intake system is designed primarily for noise suppression and emissions compliance. As a result, the standard airbox contains internal chambers and narrow intake pipes that restrict airflow to the turbocharger.

This Ramair kit removes the restrictive airbox and replaces it with a high-flow Ramair foam filter combined with a 70mm aluminium intake pipe. The smoother airflow path allows a larger volume of air to reach the turbo, helping it spool faster and respond more quickly to throttle input.

The included black powder-coated heat shield helps isolate the filter from hot engine bay air, helping maintain cooler intake temperatures and consistent performance.
