G8 Performance Foam Induction Kit - 2.0 TDI (GTD)

Improve the breathing and response of your MQB diesel with this Ramair performance induction kit designed for 2.0 TDI and 2.0 TDI GTD engines used across Volkswagen Group vehicles. This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow Ramair filter and smoother intake pipework to improve airflow to the turbocharger.

Designed for MQB platform vehicles, this kit provides increased airflow, improved turbo response and a more pronounced induction sound while maintaining excellent filtration.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

The factory intake system on MQB diesel engines uses a sealed airbox with narrow pipework and sound-dampening chambers. While effective for refinement, this design limits airflow to the turbocharger.

This Ramair system replaces the factory airbox with an open induction setup featuring an 80mm intake diameter, allowing a greater volume of air to reach the turbo. The integrated Twin-Tangential Velocity Stack helps smooth airflow as it enters the filter, reducing turbulence and improving intake efficiency.

The nanofibre filtration media ensures excellent filtration while maintaining high airflow capacity. Combined with the heat shield that protects the filter from engine bay heat, this helps deliver consistent performance and improved turbo response.
