G7 Oversized Performance Foam Induction Kit - 2.0 TSI

Designed specifically for the MQB platform, this oversized Ramair induction kit is engineered to maximise airflow on EA888 Gen 3 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI engines. Suitable for both RHD and LHD vehicles, this system replaces the entire factory intake pipework right back to the turbo inlet, removing the restrictive OEM design.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

The factory MQB intake system narrows at multiple points and uses baffled plastic pipework to reduce induction noise. While effective for refinement, it limits airflow — especially on tuned vehicles.

This oversized system features:

• A 102mm (4”) inlet diameter tapering smoothly down to an 80mm oversized turbo elbow

• Twin-Tangential Velocity Stack design to optimise laminar airflow

• Dual-layer performance foam filter for high-flow filtration

• Oversized aluminium hardpipe for smoother, unrestricted air delivery

By increasing the internal diameter and smoothing transitions, airflow to the turbocharger becomes more efficient. Reduced turbulence allows the turbo to spool faster and maintain boost more consistently under load.

The laser-cut black powder-coated heat shield creates a physical barrier between the filter and engine bay heat, helping maintain lower intake air temperatures.
