Designed specifically for the Volkswagen Polo 9N3 GTI fitted with the 1.8T 20V turbo engine and 70mm MAF sensor, this Performance Foam Induction Kit replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow solution engineered to improve airflow, throttle response and turbo sound.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

The factory intake system on the Polo GTI is designed to reduce noise and meet emissions standards, but it can restrict airflow — particularly on remapped or higher boost setups.

This induction kit removes the standard airbox and replaces it with a high-flow Ramair foam filter positioned behind a black powder-coated heat shield. The 70mm intake diameter matches the factory MAF housing to maintain accurate airflow readings and safe ECU operation.

The open-cell foam filter allows a greater volume of clean air to reach the turbocharger, improving efficiency and helping the turbo spool more freely. The heat shield helps protect the filter from engine bay heat, maintaining more stable intake air temperatures — especially important in the compact Polo engine bay.
