Please Note studs may be fully threaded

I have just changed my oil on my type 1 engine. One of the sump plate screw/ bolts (not the nut)is cross threaded. Do they come out with mole grips and do you have replacements or do I have to drill it out and tap a new thread and get a replacement Many thanks Duncan

Yes they just screw in and out of the case. You will find standard ones HERE. Or if the thread is damaged in the case then you will need to drill and tap it and use oversized versions HERE.
