i am looking to purchase a wiring loom for my 1968 beetle that has an Alternator not a dynamo (reconditioned 1600cc engine) are you able to tell me what wiring changes will be required to the loom you sell?

The differenec would be to do with the regulator which can be found under the rear seat. You will need to join these wires together as an alternator would not require the regulator, therefore you will need to by-pass it.

As long as you have a dynamo fitted to your engine then yes this will fit. If you have an alternator you will need to make some modifications to the loom.
