Upgrade your 1.8T 20V with this high-flow Performance Foam Induction Kit designed specifically for engines running a 70mm MAF sensor. A direct replacement for the restrictive factory airbox, this kit improves airflow to the turbocharger while delivering sharper throttle response and a deeper induction sound.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

The standard airbox system is engineered to reduce noise and meet emissions targets, but it can restrict airflow — especially on remapped or higher boost 1.8T engines.

This induction kit replaces the factory airbox with a high-flow Ramair foam filter mounted behind a black powder-coated heat shield. The 70mm intake diameter matches the factory 70mm MAF housing, ensuring correct airflow readings and safe operation.

The foam filter allows a greater volume of clean air to reach the turbocharger, while the smooth silicone coupler reduces internal turbulence compared to the factory intake tract. The included 29mm breather filter replaces the original crankcase breather connection when removing the OEM airbox.
