High-quality brass T-piece designed for splitting or joining fuel lines in classic Volkswagen fuel systems. Featuring 6mm (1/4″) hose tails, this fitting is ideal for use with standard fuel hose sizes found across a wide range of aircooled and early watercooled VW applications.
This T-fitting allows fuel to be safely and efficiently distributed between multiple components, such as feeding twin carburettors, adding a fuel pressure gauge, or incorporating an inline fuel filter or return line. The simple T-shape design ensures smooth fuel flow with minimal restriction, helping maintain consistent fuel delivery to the engine.
Manufactured from durable brass, this fitting offers excellent resistance to corrosion and fuel degradation, making it suitable for long-term use with modern fuels, including those containing ethanol. The barbed (tail) ends provide a secure grip on fuel hose, reducing the risk of leaks when used with appropriate hose clips.
This is a universal-style fitting commonly used in both standard and performance fuel system setups, particularly on aircooled engines running dual carburettors such as Weber IDF or Dellorto DRLA setups.
Key Features
- T-shape fuel hose connector
- 6mm (1/4″) hose tail fittings
- Solid brass construction for durability and corrosion resistance
- Suitable for petrol and ethanol-blended fuels
- Ideal for splitting fuel lines or adding additional components
How It Works
Fuel enters through one side of the T-piece and is split evenly between the two خروج outlets (or vice versa), allowing multiple components to be supplied from a single fuel line. The internal bore is designed to maintain flow without significant pressure drop, ensuring reliable engine performance.
Recommended Additional Parts
- 6mm (1/4″) fuel hose
- Fuel hose clips (jubilee clips or fuel injection clamps)
- Inline fuel filter
- Fuel pressure regulator (for twin carb setups)
