CSP Oil Filler - Type 1 Engines

The CSP Products oil filler for Type-1 engines from `61 onwards, used for example in Beetle, Type-2 Bus and Karmann Ghia (Type-14), offers several advantages over conventional filler necks.

The CNC-machined and handwelded aluminium part not only makes it easier to fill in the oil, it also allows the breather hose to be located at any desired position due to the clever design. That`s because the filler simply attaches to the alternator/generator base with the stock banjo bolt (or CSP Products version). A corresponding paper seal is included in the set.

The M22x1.5 connection thread allows the installation of hose connections that can easily accommodate breather hoses with an inner diameter of 18 mm – just like the last evolution of the factory VW version. For protection, the surface of the oil filler is black anodized and the supplied oil cap features a proper bayonet lock.
