Up to now the basic requirement for a full-flow oil system has always been a complete disassembly of the engine. No retrofit installation with the engine assembled has been possible. With the new type of full-flow connecting adapter CSP Products are setting off down a new path. Here the precondition is that a production series oil cooler will no longer be used. Our full-flow connecting adapter eliminates the rear oil pressure control piston.
This control piston only operates as a cheap oil thermostat and is not required when using an external thermostat and oil cooler. In this way we have been able to achieve a much more constant oil pressure. With this system it is only necessary to close off the oil pump pressure tapping.
Our full-flow connecting adapters are completely machined from one piece using modern CNC procedures. The connector sizes can be supplied as #8 AN screw fittings or as M18 x 1.5 banjo screw fittings. As fittings we recommend our Aeroquip fittings or appropriate ring fittings for M18 x 1.5 banjo bolts. The adapter is sealed via a Viton O-ring together with a copper ring.
