Beetle Front Beam To Framehead Bolt (Extra Long For Use With Caster Shims)
Part Number: BOLTM12100150HH
Heavy-duty M12 bolt measuring 100mm in length with a 1.5mm thread pitch, manufactured to high tensile 8.8 specification for strength and durability. Suitable for a wide range of automotive, restoration and suspension applications where a longer high-strength fixing is required.
These extra-long bolts are commonly used on aircooled VW Beetles when fitting caster shims between the front axle beam and frame head. The added thickness of caster shims requires longer mounting hardware to ensure safe thread engagement and secure clamping of the front beam assembly.
Manufactured from high tensile steel, this bolt offers excellent strength for structural and suspension mounting applications while maintaining reliable resistance to stretching under load.
Ideal for use during front suspension modifications, lowered Beetle setups and steering geometry correction. We recommend checking bolt length requirements carefully depending on the number of caster shims fitted.
