Upgrade the handling of your classic VW with this heavy duty 7/8″ front anti-roll bar, designed to significantly improve cornering stability on Volkswagen Type 2 Baywindow models.
The anti-roll bar (sway bar) connects the left and right suspension arms, helping to resist body roll when cornering. As the vehicle leans, the bar twists and transfers load across the axle, keeping the vehicle flatter and more controlled. This results in improved steering response, better tyre contact with the road, and reduced risk of inside wheel lift during harder driving.
This uprated version replaces the smaller factory bar with a much stronger 7/8″ solid steel bar, offering a noticeable improvement in stability—particularly beneficial for campers, lowered buses, or vehicles carrying extra weight. The bar is zinc plated for corrosion resistance and long-term durability.
Supplied with red urethane bushes, this kit provides firmer mounting compared to standard rubber, further enhancing control while maintaining road usability.
