Improve the rear handling and cornering stability of your Baywindow Bus with this heavy duty rear sway bar kit. Designed to reduce body roll, improve stability during cornering, and minimise wheel lift under aggressive driving conditions, this upgrade transforms the handling characteristics of the classic VW suspension setup.

Manufactured from heavy duty 7/8″ (22mm) steel, this rear anti-roll bar is considerably stronger than standard suspension components and helps keep the rear suspension flatter and more controlled during hard cornering. The zinc plated finish provides excellent corrosion resistance for long service life, while the supplied red urethane bushes offer improved durability and more precise suspension control compared to standard rubber bushes.

The sway bar works by linking both rear suspension arms together, helping distribute cornering forces more evenly across the rear axle. This reduces excessive body lean and improves overall driver confidence, especially on lowered buses, campers, performance builds, and vehicles fitted with upgraded tyres or engines.

Installation is straightforward with no welding or vehicle modification required. The steel mounting clamps secure directly to the torsion tube, while the mounting brackets fit between the spring plate and trailing arm for a strong and reliable installation.
