Rear brake hose, 200mm long, for a wide range of Volkswagen models. This flexible hose connects the rigid brake pipe to the moving rear brake assembly, allowing suspension movement while maintaining safe hydraulic brake pressure.

Brake hoses are a vital part of the braking system. As the pedal is pressed, brake fluid passes through the hose to operate the wheel cylinder or caliper. Over time, hoses can crack, swell internally, perish or corrode at the fittings, causing poor brake feel, binding brakes or fluid leaks. Replacing worn hoses helps restore safe, consistent braking performance.

This hose is used on the rear of T25/T3 models and on various rear applications across Golf, Jetta, Scirocco, Passat and Polo ranges. On Mk2 Golf applications it is used as the rear inner hose. Always compare hose length, fitting style and position before ordering.

For best results, inspect the metal brake pipes, retaining clips, calipers or wheel cylinders at the same time. As with any brake work, the system must be bled correctly after fitting and brake fluid should be renewed if contaminated or old.
