2″ narrowed and adjustable front beam to fit left hand drive Beetles and Karmann Ghias up to 1965 that have king + link pin suspension.

These beams are brand new, fitted with lowering adjusters welded in to give you up to 4″ of height adjustment

Finish:  Please note that the finish on these beams is not show quality.  Often these beams are scratched and have paint chips due to storage and transport.  The paint finish on these is just a `storage` paint to help prevent rusting while in storage.  You will need to strip and paint if you require a better finish.

Sold as a complete set to do both the upper and lower tubes of one front beam, these leaves are ideal for low and narrowed front-end setups where original-width torsion arms and leaves would no longer fit properly. Compatible only with link pin front suspension setups, not for use with ball joint beams or later-model vehicles.

Specifically designed for early Type 1 models, this heavy-duty 2″ narrowed anti-roll bar kit is engineered to suit king and link pin front suspension with a 2″ narrowed beam. It restores proper anti-roll functionality on modified front ends while delivering a major improvement in handling and stability.

On narrowed beam setups, the original anti-roll bar no longer aligns correctly. This uprated version is built to the correct width, ensuring a perfect fit while significantly improving chassis control—especially important on lowered or custom vehicles.

Constructed from solid 3/4″ steel, this anti-roll bar links both front trailing arms together to resist body roll during cornering. As weight transfers to the outside wheel, the bar twists and distributes load across both sides of the suspension, helping keep the vehicle level. This improves tyre contact, steering response and overall grip, particularly noticeable in fast bends and spirited driving.

Supplied with durable red urethane bushes, this kit reduces flex compared to standard rubber bushes, allowing the anti-roll bar to react more quickly and accurately to suspension movement while maintaining long service life.

How It Works
The anti-roll bar connects the left and right front suspension arms. When cornering forces cause one side to compress more than the other, the bar resists this difference by twisting, helping to keep the car flatter and more stable. This improves traction and reduces excessive body lean.
