1/2" NPT To 1/2" Barb Straight Barb Hose Fittings (Oil Cooler)

These 1/2″ NPT to 1/2″ barbed hose fittings are designed specifically for use in external oil systems, making them ideal for connecting oil lines directly to external oil coolers. With a larger 1/2″ NPT thread, these fittings are perfectly suited for applications where increased oil flow is required, particularly when fitted into the inlet and outlet ports on external oil coolers.

Each fitting features a 1/2″ NPT tapered thread, allowing it to screw securely into oil cooler ports, filter heads, or other oil system components. The tapered thread design ensures a tight, leak-free seal when installed with suitable thread sealant. The 1/2″ hose barb provides a strong and reliable connection to oil hose, ensuring the hose remains securely in place even under high pressure and temperature conditions.

These fittings are commonly used at the cooler end of a full flow oil system. Oil is routed from the engine through external lines, into the oil cooler via these fittings, cooled efficiently, and then returned back into the engine.
