This polyurethane (urethane) version offers a much firmer and more durable solution. By reducing flex in the linkage, it delivers a noticeably tighter, more precise gearshift feel while maintaining enough compliance to absorb vibration and reduce noise transfer.

How It Works
The gearshift coupling sits between the shift rod and the gearbox selector shaft. When you move the gear lever, the motion is transferred through the shift rod into this coupling, which then rotates the selector shaft to engage gears. A worn coupling allows movement to be lost, causing vague or inaccurate shifting. The urethane construction minimises this loss, improving responsiveness and control.
