Beetle EMPI T-Handle Button Shifter - LHD Models Only

EMPI polished aluminium T-handle gear shifter with integrated quick shift mechanism and push button reverse lockout, designed specifically for left hand drive Volkswagen models.

This upgraded shifter replaces the original gear lever and delivers a shorter, more precise gear change for improved driving feel and faster gear selection. The integrated quick shift mechanism reduces the distance between shifts, helping provide a tighter and sportier shifting action compared to the standard factory shifter.

The classic T-handle design offers a comfortable grip and period custom appearance, while the push button reverse lockout positioned on the left-hand side helps prevent accidental selection of reverse gear during normal driving. Manufactured from polished aluminium for durability and a high-quality finish.

This version is specifically designed for left hand drive vehicles and fits Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3 and many Buggy or Baja applications using the standard VW floor-mounted gearshift system.

Ideal for performance builds, custom projects and classic restorations. For best results, inspect the gearshift coupling, shift rod bush and gearbox mounts during installation, as worn linkage components can reduce shift quality.
