Beetle EMPI T-Handle Button Shifter - RHD

EMPI polished aluminium T-handle gear shifter with integrated quick shift mechanism and push button reverse lockout, designed specifically for right hand drive Volkswagen models.

This upgraded shifter replaces the standard gear lever and provides a shorter, more precise gear change for a sportier driving feel. The built-in quick shift reduces the throw distance between gears, helping improve shift speed and overall gear selection accuracy compared to the original factory shifter.

The T-handle design provides a comfortable grip and classic performance appearance, while the push button reverse lockout positioned on the right-hand side helps prevent accidental engagement of reverse gear during driving. Manufactured from polished aluminium for durability and a period custom look.

This version is specifically designed for right hand drive vehicles and is suitable for Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Type 3 and many Buggy or Baja applications using the standard VW floor-mounted gearshift setup.

Ideal for custom, performance or restoration projects. We recommend inspecting the gearshift coupling, shift rod bush and gearbox mounts during installation, as worn linkage components can affect shift quality even with an upgraded shifter.
