Beetle Hurst Trigger Shifter

Faithful reproduction of the iconic 1960s SAF-T Trigger shifter, featuring a chrome angled shaft, black gear knob and trigger-operated reverse lockout. This EMPI Hurst-style shifter delivers a classic vintage appearance while significantly improving shift quality and reducing gear change travel by approximately 40%.

Designed to provide quicker, more precise gear changes than the original factory gear lever, the trigger reverse lockout mechanism helps prevent accidental engagement of reverse gear while maintaining smooth and positive operation.

Although originally designed for LHD vehicles, this shifter is also comfortable to use in RHD models as the gear knob position is not handed, making it a popular upgrade for UK vehicles.

Unlike many aftermarket shifters, no separate shift plate is required, simplifying installation.
