Stainless Steel BAJA Bug Single Tube Rear Cage - Shock Tower Mount

High quality single tube rear cage manufactured from polished stainless steel for VW Baja Bugs, Beach Buggies, and Trike applications. Built using heavy-duty 38mm (1 1/2″) stainless steel tubing and jig-welded for strength, durability, and accurate fitment.

Designed to mount to the transmission mounts and upper rear shock mounting bolts, this rear cage provides excellent protection for the engine, exhaust system, and rear bodywork during off-road driving while also giving your vehicle the classic Baja off-road appearance.

Unlike painted mild steel versions, the polished stainless steel construction offers excellent corrosion resistance and a bright polished finish that is ideal for show vehicles, beach buggies, and exposed off-road applications. The polished surface can be maintained to a mirror-like shine and does not require painting or powder coating.

The strong tubular construction helps absorb impacts and protects vulnerable rear engine components from trail damage, making it suitable for both recreational off-road use and custom street Baja builds.

Ideal for Baja Beetles, off-road Beetles, dune buggies, and VW trike conversions using Type 1 based chassis and suspension setups.
