Beetle Chrome Nipple Hubcap - 1968-79 (Also Late Bay Bus)

This nipple-style chrome hubcap is a high-quality reproduction of the classic design originally fitted to Porsche 356 models, now made to fit a range of Volkswagen 4-stud and 5×112 wheels. It brings a period-correct, vintage Porsche look to your aircooled VW while maintaining proper fitment for later wheel types.

Suitable for all 4-stud VW Beetles, Karmann Ghias, and Type 3s, as well as late Baywindow Buses from August 1971 onwards with the 5×112 stud pattern, these hubcaps are a stylish and authentic way to enhance your vehicle’s appearance.

Each cap is finished in “Sunny Climate Chrome”, replicating the mirror finish of the original Porsche items. However, due to the single-layer chroming process, these caps are best suited for dry environments. In damp or cold climates (such as the UK), the finish can deteriorate if left unprotected. With regular cleaning, waxing, and care, they can remain bright and corrosion-free for significantly longer.

These hubcaps are also designed with three mounting holes to accommodate original-style Porsche ceramic crest badges (badges not included).

Due to the “Sunny Climate Chrome” finish, there is no warranty on surface corrosion or pitting. Regular cleaning and waxing will prolong the life and shine of the chrome.
