26 11/16" Swing Axle Race Axle

Heavy duty high-performance swing axle shaft for Volkswagen swing axle transmissions. Manufactured to the same dimensions as standard 1961-1966 Beetle axles, these strengthened axle shafts are designed for high performance street, off-road and racing applications where greater drivetrain strength is required.

Unlike standard factory axles which taper through the centre section, these performance axles feature a constant diameter shaft all the way through to the splines. This design greatly improves overall strength and resistance to twisting under heavy acceleration or high torque loads.

Manufactured from superior grade steel, the axles are forged before machining and heat treated for improved durability and performance. Ideal for engines producing increased horsepower, aggressive driving, drag racing, off-road Baja use or vehicles fitted with wider tyres and upgraded transmissions.

Suitable for swing axle gearbox applications only.
