Swing Axle Blue Urethane Axle Boots - Deluxe

Deluxe blue urethane swing axle boot kit for all swing axle transmission applications. These high durability urethane axle boots are supplied with upgraded extra wide stainless steel clamps, heavy duty plated hex-head bolts and nylon insert locking nuts for improved sealing performance and long-term reliability.

The axle boots seal the connection between the swing axle tube and gearbox side cover, preventing transmission oil leaks while still allowing movement of the axle tube during suspension travel. Worn or cracked axle boots are a common cause of gearbox oil leaks on classic VW swing axle models and should be replaced as soon as deterioration is found.

Unlike standard rubber boots, these urethane boots offer improved resistance to oil, heat, cracking and age-related deterioration. The blue urethane finish also makes them popular for detailed engine bays, Cal-Look cars, off-road vehicles and custom restorations.

This deluxe kit upgrades the standard hardware with extra wide stainless steel clamps for improved clamping pressure and sealing reliability. The split boot design allows installation without removing the axle tube from the gearbox, making fitting much easier with the transmission still installed in the vehicle.
