1302+1303 Beetle Heavy Duty Rear Anti Roll Bar - IRS Models

Upgrade the handling of your IRS Beetle with this heavy-duty rear anti-roll bar kit. Designed for the rear axle of Independent Rear Suspension Beetles, this 19mm / 3/4″ sway bar helps reduce body roll, improve cornering stability and increase road adhesion when driving harder through bends.

The anti-roll bar links the rear suspension movement from side to side, helping keep the car flatter and more controlled during cornering. This gives the car a more positive, planted feel and can help reduce unwanted rear-end movement and wheel hop.

Manufactured from high-grade drawn steel with a zinc plated finish, the bar is built specifically for the Beetle IRS rear suspension. Supplied with red urethane bushes and a full fitting kit, it provides a firmer, more responsive upgrade compared with worn or standard-style components.

For safe, balanced handling, rear sway bars should be used with a suitable uprated front anti-roll bar. Fitting only a front or rear bar on IRS cars can create poor or unpredictable handling.
