EMPI Gas Charged Performance Shock Absorber designed specifically for lowered ball joint front suspension applications. Unlike conventional oil-filled shock absorbers, these gas charged units react more quickly to changing road conditions, helping to improve handling, steering response and tyre contact with the road surface.
On smooth roads the shock absorber allows comfortable suspension movement, while on rough or uneven surfaces the gas charged design responds faster to control suspension travel and reduce wheel bounce. This results in improved stability, better cornering performance and increased driver confidence.
Designed for lowered vehicles, this shorter shock absorber provides the correct operating range for reduced ride height applications. Using the correct length shock absorber is essential to maintain suspension travel and prevent bottoming out.
Finished in EMPI`s distinctive white coating and supplied complete with upper bushes, washer and retaining nut.

Fitting Advice:
Before installation, cycle the shock absorber through several full strokes in the upright position. This removes any air bubbles that may have formed during storage and ensures optimum performance.
