1302 Beetle Urethane Anti Roll Bar Bush Kit - 1971-73

Complete urethane front anti roll bar mounting kit for Volkswagen 1302 and early 1303 Beetles fitted with 3-bolt front suspension struts from 1971-1973. This kit replaces the original rubber anti roll bar bushes and mounts with firmer urethane components designed to improve handling stability and steering response.

The anti roll bar helps control body roll and stabilise the front suspension during cornering. Over time, the original rubber bushes soften, crack and wear out, often causing vague steering, suspension movement and the well-known Super Beetle steering wobble or shimmy.

These urethane bushes are significantly firmer and more durable than standard rubber items, helping reduce unwanted suspension flex while improving steering precision and chassis stability. Urethane is also highly resistant to oil, road dirt and age-related deterioration, making it a popular long-term upgrade for road and performance vehicles.

This complete kit includes all urethane bushes and steel sleeves required to replace the original front anti roll bar mounts for one vehicle. The bushes are supplied in red urethane.
