1302 Beetle Shock Absorber Insert For Front Adjustable Strut (AC4129626) - 1971-73 (3 Bolt)

Oil filled front shock absorber insert for VW Beetle 1302 models fitted with lowered adjustable 3-bolt front struts. This insert is designed for use with adjustable strut assemblies such as AC4129626 and is sold individually.

The shock insert sits inside the front strut housing and controls suspension movement by damping the spring action. This prevents the front of the car from bouncing excessively and helps keep the tyre in contact with the road. Oil filled inserts provide a smooth, controlled ride, making them well suited to road use and lowered suspension setups.

A worn insert can cause poor ride quality, knocking, vague steering, excessive bounce or reduced braking stability. Replacing the inserts helps restore front suspension control and safer handling.
