The stock two hole VW nosecone (61-72) is often weakend over the years and frequently breaks.
The later stock three hole nosecone is extremely strong but will not bolt in UNTIL NOW! Now you can cure nosecone breakage by fitting a later 1973 three hole nosecone gearbox to an earlier 1961-1972 chassis.
