Beetle Urethane Gearbox Mount Kit - 1961-72

Upgrade your drivetrain with this 3-piece red urethane gearbox mount kit, designed to replace the original rubber transmission mounts with durable, high-performance polyurethane. These mounts provide a firmer connection between the gearbox and chassis, reducing unwanted transmission movement during acceleration, braking and hard cornering.

Manufactured from high-quality red polyurethane (PU), these mounts are significantly more resistant to oil, heat and ageing than conventional rubber mounts. They offer a long service life and are an excellent choice for performance cars, off-road vehicles and restorations where improved drivetrain stability is required.

By limiting gearbox movement, these mounts help improve gear selection, reduce wheel hop under acceleration and minimise stress on the clutch cable, shift linkage and drivetrain components. As they are firmer than the original rubber mounts, a slight increase in drivetrain vibration may be noticeable, particularly at idle.

Supplied as a complete set of three mounts, including the necessary mounting hardware for straightforward installation.
