Black steel J-tube exhaust pipes for Volkswagen Type 3 models, replacing the original heat exchangers for improved exhaust flow and reduced weight.
These replacement J-tubes are designed for Volkswagen Type 3 models originally fitted with heater boxes. They replace the factory heat exchangers with straight-through exhaust pipes, improving exhaust flow while reducing both weight and cost. This makes them an ideal choice for performance engines, warmer climates or vehicles where the heating system is no longer required.
By eliminating the bulky heat exchangers, J-tubes provide a simpler exhaust layout and are commonly fitted to custom, race and modified Type 3s. Please note that installing J-tubes removes the vehicle`s cabin heating, as the original heater boxes are no longer present.
Manufactured from durable steel with a protective black finish, these J-tubes are supplied as a matching pair and are designed to fit standard Type 3 exhaust systems using the original mounting locations.
