Replace rusty, damaged or restrictive heat exchangers with these 35mm exhaust J-tubes. Designed for Type 1 based aircooled engines, J-tubes offer a simple and lightweight alternative to standard heater boxes, improving exhaust flow while reducing weight and cost.
By removing the heat exchangers and fitting J-tubes, exhaust gases flow directly from the cylinder heads to the exhaust system without passing through heater boxes. This makes them a popular choice for performance engines, summer vehicles, off-road cars and vehicles where cabin heating is no longer required.
Manufactured from steel and supplied with a protective black transport coating. Please note the black finish is not heat-resistant paint and should be removed and replaced with a quality high-temperature exhaust coating before use to maximise service life.
The exhaust flanges are adjustable and may require alignment during installation.
