EMPI Monza 4 Tip Exhaust - Type 1 Engines (Not 1200cc)

Performance EMPI Monza style exhaust system featuring classic quad tailpipe design and 35mm (1 3/8″) tubing, ideal for upgrading both the sound and appearance of your aircooled VW. This system is designed to fit 1300cc to 1600cc engines, offering improved exhaust flow over standard systems while retaining heater compatibility.

The exhaust system plays a vital role in removing combustion gases from the engine while maintaining correct back pressure. This Monza system improves flow characteristics, helping engines breathe more efficiently, which can result in improved throttle response and a sportier exhaust note. The iconic four chrome tailpipes give a distinctive performance look and deeper tone compared to stock silencers.

Constructed from steel with a protective black coating and chromed tailpipe tips.  It retains compatibility with heater boxes, making it suitable for road use where cabin heating is still required.

Important Notes:
EMPI exhausts are supplied with a transport coating that acts as a rust inhibitor. This coating will burn off during initial use. For best results and longevity, it is recommended to remove the coating with solvent and repaint using a high-quality high-temperature exhaust paint. Exhaust systems are not warranted against rust.
