Stainless Steel 4 Pipe Stinger Exhaust (Power Pipes)

This stainless steel 4-pipe stinger exhaust, commonly known as ‘Power Pipes’, is designed for Aircooled VW Type 1 powered Buggies and Trikes where a conventional rear exhaust system may not fit. Featuring four exposed stinger-style outlets, this system delivers an aggressive appearance and a distinctive exhaust note that has become iconic in the VW custom scene.

Manufactured from durable 1 3/8″ stainless steel tubing, this exhaust system offers improved resistance to corrosion compared to painted mild steel systems, making it ideal for exposed installations on beach buggies, kit cars and trikes. The open pipe design creates a deep, raw exhaust sound while also allowing excellent exhaust gas flow for tuned and performance engines.

Designed to work with most single and dual carburettor setups, this system is suitable for a wide range of engine combinations. Its compact layout makes it particularly useful where rear bodywork, engine cages or custom chassis designs restrict the use of standard merged or silencer exhaust systems.

For best results, installation may also require:

• Exhaust gaskets
• Fitting hardware
• Heater box delete pipes or J-tubes
• Exhaust clamps
• Carburettor rejetting on tuned engines

Please note: Due to the performance nature of this exhaust, noise levels are considerably louder than standard exhaust systems.
