94mm Barrel Spacer Kit (0.060" Thick) - Type 1 Engines

Fine-tune your engine’s compression ratio and deck height with this set of 4 cylinder base shims, designed for use with 94mm barrels on Type 1 aircooled VW engines.

These 0.060″ (1.524mm) thick shims mount between the crankcase and cylinder to space the barrel out slightly—essential for setting proper squish clearance, avoiding piston-to-head contact, or adjusting compression for turbo, stroker, or big-bore setups.

Ideal for custom engine builds or rebuilds, these shims are compatible with a wide range of aircooled VW models using 94mm barrels.
