200mm Semi-Metallic Clutch Disc (Daikin B503)

Daikin metal-woven and semi-metallic performance clutch discs are designed for higher performance aircooled VW engines where a standard organic clutch plate may struggle under increased torque and aggressive driving conditions. This 200mm rigid clutch disc uses premium semi-metallic friction materials which provide improved grip, excellent heat resistance and increased resistance to clutch slip during hard acceleration or spirited driving.

The solid centre rigid hub design gives a much more direct connection between the engine and gearbox compared to a sprung centre clutch plate. This provides faster clutch engagement and improved power transfer, making it ideal for performance street cars, drag race applications, off-road cars and high-powered engines. Due to the rigid centre design, clutch operation can feel more aggressive than a standard clutch disc, especially during low speed driving.

This clutch disc is designed for use with 200mm flywheels and should ideally be paired with a Stage 1 or Stage 2 pressure plate depending on engine output and intended use. For best performance and reliability, it is recommended to inspect or replace the clutch release bearing, clutch cable, Bowden tube and flywheel gland nut during installation. Always check the flywheel friction surface condition before fitting a new clutch disc.
