180mm Clutch Disc (Heavy Duty)

Heavy-duty 180mm rigid clutch disc upgrade for aircooled Volkswagen engines fitted with 180mm flywheels. Featuring a reinforced rigid centre design and heat-resistant metal woven friction material, this clutch disc is designed to handle increased engine torque and harsher operating conditions compared to standard organic clutch plates.

The metal woven friction lining provides excellent heat resistance and durability, making this disc ideal for heavy-duty road use, off-road vehicles, tuned engines and commercial applications where a stronger clutch setup is required. The rigid centre construction delivers more direct power transfer to the gearbox, although it may produce slightly harsher engagement compared to sprung centre clutch discs.

Designed as a direct replacement for original equipment 180mm clutch discs, this upgraded version fits all aircooled VW engines using a 180mm flywheel. Originally found on many 1200cc and 1300cc engines, however flywheel size should always be checked before ordering as many engines may have been upgraded during their lifetime.
