32/36 EPC EMPI Progressive Carburettor Kit - Type 4 Engines

This complete kit features a EMPI EPC 32/36 Progressive carburettor, manifold, chrome air filter with gauze element, fuel line, hardware and accelerator cable linkage kit.

Fitment: For use on all 1700cc, 1800cc and 2000cc aircooled Baywindow Buses.  For Type 25 Buses this kit will fit the 2 litre aircooled engine but clerance with the engine hatch is very tight.  You will need to remove some of the sound deadening on the lid or run a lower profile air filter which must be purchased separately.

Fitting: You may need to modify your fan shroud when fitting the choke unit on to the carburettor. This carburettor DOES have a vacuum port for connection to a vacuum distributor if required. 

This kit will require setting up on a rolling road for optimum performance

Primary & Secondary Jets fitted as standard are:

Main: Primary 137, Secondary 140

Air: Primary 165, Secondary 160

Idle: Primary 60, Secondary 50
