32/36 Weber Progressive Carburettor Kit - Type 4 Engines

Convert your original twin carburettor setup to a single centrally mounted Weber 32/36 Progressive carburettor with this complete conversion kit. Designed for Type 4 aircooled engines, this kit combines the economy of running on the primary choke during cruising with the additional performance of the secondary choke when accelerating.

The kit includes a genuine Weber 32/36 progressive carburettor, intake manifold, chrome gauze air filter, fuel line, linkage kit and fitting hardware, providing everything required for installation. The electric choke ensures reliable cold starting and everyday drivability.

Ideal for standard and mildly tuned engines, this conversion simplifies maintenance compared to twin carburettor systems while still offering strong performance. For optimum results, rolling road tuning is recommended after installation.

Important Notes:

• This carburettor features a vacuum take-off port.
• Not recommended for use with original vacuum advance distributors.
• For best results use with a 009 or 050 style electronic distributor and matching ignition coil.
• Winter drivability may not match twin carburettor systems due to reduced manifold pre-heating.
• Type 25 aircooled models may require trimming of engine lid sound insulation or fitting a lower profile air filter (AC1298809).
