Split Inlet Manifold Boot - Type 1 Engines, T25 (CT Engine Codes)

These split inlet manifold boots provide a quick and practical solution for replacing worn or cracked manifold rubbers without removing the carburettor or inlet manifold. Ideal for servicing engines in situ, they save time and avoid disturbing existing settings.

Unlike standard boots, these are manufactured in a split design, allowing them to be fitted around the manifold ends. Simply cut off the old boots, position the new split boots around the manifold joints, and secure them using the supplied clips. This makes them perfect for quick repairs or when access is limited.

The manifold boots are a critical part of the intake system, sealing the joints between the centre section and end castings on twin port engines. They prevent air leaks which can cause poor idling, flat spots, weak mixtures, and overheating. Replacing damaged boots restores proper air/fuel mixture control and engine performance.

Designed for all aircooled Type 1 twin port engines, these boots are also used on Type 25 (T3) models fitted with the 1600cc CT aircooled engine.
