Chrome Rectangular Air Filter - 32/36 Progressive Carburettor Air Filter - 64mm High

Upgrade your induction system with this washable rectangular air filter kit, designed specifically for Weber 32/36 progressive carburettors (DGV, DGEV, DFAV, DFEV, DFV) and EMPI EPC carburettors. Combining performance, reusability and classic styling, this filter is ideal for both standard and modified aircooled VW engines.

This air filter uses a high-flow cotton gauze element, allowing improved airflow compared to standard paper filters. Increased airflow helps your carburettor deliver a more efficient air/fuel mixture, improving throttle response and overall engine performance. The washable and reusable design means long-term cost savings—simply clean and re-oil the element to maintain peak performance.

The kit is supplied complete with a chrome top and base plates along with retaining clips, giving a clean, period-correct performance look within the engine bay. Its rectangular design suits progressive carburettor conversions where space and airflow direction are important.

Important Fitment Notes:
Due to its size, this filter can be a tight fit in some engine bays:
• On Beetles with pre-1967 engine lids, clearance may be limited—decklid stand-offs may be required
• Will NOT fit under the rain tray on Karmann Ghia models
• A smaller alternative is available if required (see part number AC1298809)
