Chrome Rectangular Air Filter - IDF Carburettor Air Filter - (45mm Or 1.77inch Tall)

Performance rectangular air filter for Weber IDF, Dellorto DRLA, EMPI HPMX and EMPI D carburettors fitted to aircooled Volkswagen engines. Featuring a reusable cotton gauze filter element with chrome top and bottom plates, this low profile air filter is ideal for performance engines where carburettor clearance is limited.

With an overall height of 1 3/4″ (45mm), this compact filter is commonly used in engine bays with restricted space, including Beetles, Karmann Ghias, Type 3 conversions, Buggies and custom engine installations. The cotton gauze element provides excellent airflow while still offering effective filtration to protect the engine from dust and debris.

The chrome plated top and base plates provide a classic performance appearance and help complete the look of dual carburettor installations. Suitable for both street and performance engines using Weber IDF, Dellorto DRLA or EMPI HPMX style carburettors.

The reusable filter element can be cleaned and re-oiled during servicing, helping maintain airflow and engine performance over time.

For best results, inspect carburettor mounting gaskets, linkage clearance, and air filter retaining hardware during installation.
