IDF Carb Base Gaskets

High quality fibre base gasket set designed to seal the carburettor to inlet manifold joint on engines running Weber IDF and Dellorto DRLA carburettors. Supplied as a pair, these gaskets are essential for twin carb installations on aircooled VW engines.

The carburettor base gasket is a critical sealing component that prevents air leaks between the carburettor and inlet manifold. Any unmetered air entering at this point will upset the air/fuel ratio, leading to poor idle, hesitation, flat spots and reduced engine performance. These gaskets ensure a tight seal so the carburettor can accurately meter fuel and air for smooth, reliable running.
