Type 4 Inlet Manifold Gaskets - Fibre

Fibre inlet manifold gaskets designed for Type 4 aircooled engines, ideal for both standard and performance applications. These gaskets seal the joint between the inlet manifold and cylinder head, preventing air leaks that can affect engine performance, idle quality, and fuel mixture.

Manufactured from durable fibre material, these gaskets are especially suited to ported and polished cylinder heads where the inlet ports may have been enlarged or reshaped. Unlike rigid gaskets, fibre versions can be carefully trimmed and matched to the exact port profile, ensuring smooth airflow from the manifold into the cylinder head. This helps maintain proper air/fuel mixture distribution and supports improved engine efficiency and performance.

The inlet manifold gasket plays a critical role in engine operation. Any air leak at this point can lead to weak mixtures, poor running, hesitation, or difficulty tuning carburettors or fuel injection systems.
