Fuel Pump Block Off - Type 1 Engines, Waterboxer Engines

Aluminium fuel pump block off plate for Volkswagen aircooled Type 1 based engines fitted to Beetles, Campervans, Karmann Ghias and Type 3 models running 1200cc to 1600cc engines. Designed to seal the original mechanical fuel pump opening in the crankcase when converting to an electric fuel pump or removing the standard pump assembly.

This block off plate provides a clean and secure way to cover the fuel pump mounting position while helping prevent oil leaks from the crankcase. Manufactured from durable aluminium, it also features a threaded M12 x 1.5 centre tapping which can optionally be converted into an additional crankcase breather outlet.

To use the plate as an oil breather connection, the centre section must be drilled fully through and fitted with a suitable M12 x 1.5 hose barb fitting or breather attachment. This makes it useful for performance engines or modified applications requiring improved crankcase ventilation.

Supplied complete with mounting gasket for straightforward installation.
