You will need to connect this to a postive connection that is live only when the ignition switch is on.
You should not need a regulator.
The pump is pre set but may require a regulator for certain applications.
No these will only work with 12 volt systems. The only electric pump that we offer to work on 6 Volts systems is the Pierburg Pump. This can be found on our webiste HERE.
